UPDATE 12/21: We have our winners!
It was NOT easy picking winners from all the amazing entries we got for the art contest! Beach Buggy fans continue to amaze, delight and humble us with your creativity and craft! But still we had to pick some winners, so we split them into categories and got to votin’.
Without further adoo, here are our grand prize winners in each category:
Overall
We really liked this image from Correa117xES (actually apparently done by their sister) It just captures the style and essence of the characters and really spoke to our judges.
Most Creative
We always enjoy a fresh take on our characters, and in this category SrAckerman delivered with a mixed-media diorama that speaks to the season.
Funniest
There was a LOT of humor in the entries this year, but GoodmanGirl never fails to tickle our funnybones with colorful and fanciful images like this one.
Youth
We love seeing the talent of our younger racers, and we really liked the storytelling and style in this image from AaronM2023.
AI Generated
The AI channel’s been hot on our Discord this year, with a lot of folks mastering the prompts. We particularly liked this image from bryzkee.

Beach Buggy Racing 2 launched on the App Store and Google Play Store on December 19, 2018. In the 5 years since, we have been constantly delighted and humbled by the enthusiasm and creativity of the Beach Buggy Racing fan community. You’ve shared pictures of your paintings, digital art, crayon drawings, LEGO sculptures, clay models, birthday cakes, costumes, and more. It’s literally one of our favorite parts of this job, and keep us inspired to create more exciting gameplay to feed your imaginations.
So to celebrate 5 years of amazing fan art, we’re hosting — another fan art contest!
THE CHALLENGE
Send us a clear image of your best Beach Buggy Racing artwork, and you could win an awesome Beach Buggy Racing 2 prize pack!
Subject matter can be anything. Your favorite drivers, cars, characters, powerups. Pen and paper, digital art, crayon, sculptures and paper cutouts — all medium and levels of artistic ability are welcome!
There are lots of different categories of winners for different ages and skill-sets, so everybody has a chance to win. Prizes will be given separately in these categories:
Overall
Most creative
Funniest
Youth (be sure to tell us in your entry if you are under 13 or you’ll be judged in overall)
AI-generated (be sure to tell us your AI-image is AI generated or you’ll be disqualified)
THE PRIZES
Grand Prize winners in each category will get to pick a car or driver of their choice (no Hot Wheels cars sorry) OR if you want, you can get a game code for one of our console games. Your choice.
Runners up in each category will earn gem packs.
PLUS: All entrants will get a special Body Shop pack.

Contest ends Monday December 19 at 9 a.m. Pacific! Be sure to send us your entry before that time or it won’t be counted.

Artwork must be your own creation. Do not submit copies of other people’s art.
You MAY submit AI generated artwork…as long as you label it AI generated. We will have a special judging category just for AI-generated artwork. If you submit AI-generated artwork without telling us it’s AI-generated, you will be disqualified.
By entering the contest, you agree to your work being posted in/on our website, fan art gallery, social media channels, email newsletter, office walls, bulletin board, refrigerator, etc. Note that names and email addresses will NOT be shared — only BBR usernames.
